Some Non Sense that Should be Remembered
I live in a land far far away inhabited by giant androids. Under the purple sun. Decorating our yards with cats stuck in trees. Walking pet flowers. Where blades of grass are giant pinwheels passing time on spider hunts. Tripping on webs of paper in the dark. Making conversations with rock star hermit crabs - b.f.f.! Feasting on giant frozen muffins. Displaying jars full of expensive tiny pebbles. Where words aren't heard, but read in large conversation bubbles above heads. Drinking from large jugs of cocktails made from pine bark and boiled coal. Or making lemonade out of moon beams, or maybe moonamade out of lemon beams. Where questions are soft and cozy like your favoirte old t-shirt, and silence gives you blisters on your big toe.
Happiness makes your eyelashes shine and your lips glow.
May I tell you a rhyme about floating on dump trucks over foamy waves in the carpet? Better yet, I'll sing it backwards on my harmonica. May I escort you to the ball in denim gowns and silver shoes? I'll paint my toe nails with construction paper. The fan is a disco ball blowing pounding bass lines at flashy colored lights. Dodge them if you can, but if you can't, then collect them and paste them on the inside of your tires.
Can your hands drip with snobbery? Does piety rot your teeth? How many times in a row can you count to ten before your face bursts into song? If you stare long enough at one thing, will it begin to stalk you? Do you spend your day corraling black slithery feelings? If you write poetry on the air, will it smell sweeter? Does the lightning plant gumdrops in the forest?
Stepthrough my front door and let me vacuum the pompous off your shirt.

My sister in law told me that when she comes to our house, she feels like she enters an alternate reality. I have absolutely no idea what she is talking about, but I take it as a compliment.
